The Accessibility Standards for Customer Service (O. Reg. 429/07) under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), 2005 establishes standards for customer service to provide goods and services to persons with disabilities in a manner that respects their dignity and independence. Persons with disabilities must be given an opportunity equal to that given to others to obtain, use and benefit from products and services.
Dell has made every reasonable effort to ensure that its policies, practices and procedures are consistent with the AODA. Every person with a disability shall be appreciated for their individual needs and should expect the following courtesy when visiting a Dell location:
- Dell employees will take into account the person’s disability and will appropriately communicate with them to achieve best possible outcomes.
- Service animals and or support persons will be welcomed at every store location.
- All assistive devices can be used to access merchandise and services. Employees will also make themselves available to assist upon request.
- Temporary disruptions in regard to providing services will be posted in an obvious place for Customer notification.
- Every employee will receive training to comply with the AODA.
- Dell welcomes all feedback and anyone can provide their suggestions or comments by communicating them to a Dell Manager at any store location, in writing and submitting to any store location or mailing to:
